I have had MRI's before on my neck and back with no problems, but something went off in my brain, once i was strapped in. I have spent the last 24 hours trying to figure out what went wrong. I have never had a feeling like that. I just had to get out of there. I am not sure if it has anything to do with my swallowing issue or what.
But that incident ruined my evening of poker. I bombed out of the 7:10pm league tourney and then bombed out of two tournaments on lock poker. To my mental coach's credit, Mr. Jared Tendler, I actually placed in the top 20% of both lock tournaments.
What the mental game coaching did for me, was to be able to realize, in the middle of my game, that I was not playing my "A" game. Rather then try to fight through my feelings to get to the "A" game, I thought it was best to call it a night.
I honestly don't think I could have done that a year ago, before my coaching from Mr. Tendler. If you are serious about your poker, I strongly recommend you do a few sessions with him.
