This year I am playing Mr. Mom as I drop off and pick up my boys from school. This year, due to one child in half day kindergarten, I have to spend 4 days a week making the trip to school. On Wednesday we push that up to 4 trips as my oldest is playing violin and practice begins an hour after school is out.
This really cramps my ability to play live games. I am now limited to only playing at night which is problematic for me as well.
Am I complaining? No, just explaining why my posts might be more related to online play then live action. I do prefer live to online play.
This will, however, give me time to get my podcast up and going. I plan on having the first one out on Christmas day. Not sure who my first guest will be, but I have a couple of thoughts in mind.
One thing, if you are new to the site, is that I want to use the podcast to interview regular poker players. There are podcasts galore that have the "pros" or "noted" poker authorities.
I think I want to gear it towards more the casual, random player just like myself. Oh sure, we will go over hands and such. But I also want to go over things like, how do you find time to play poker, how do you tell your significant other you lost $350.00 and have nothing to show other then a tournament receipt - which is not that impressive.
