First, I have to thank my wife for letting me go down there, on my own. I can't tell you how many comments I got when I explained that it was "just" me in Vegas. They ranged from, "Do you guys have an open marriage?", "Hey, let's had to Glitter Gulch after this." to "I wish my wife would let me come on my own."
I had to laugh at the guy that wanted to go to Glitter Gulch, not sure what he was after other then thinking that without my wife here, I was an open bank.
I sure didn't do as well as I had hoped, but I learned an immense amount about my playing ability in regards to poker. I also learned that 6 days in Vegas with 110 degree heat is too much for this guy.
Looking back, I played way too much poker which ruined my chance at the 1k WSOP event that I wanted to play in the worst way. I was rather morose on Wednesday when I looked at my roll and realized that the WSOP dream was up in smoke.
Lesson learned. Stay tuned for more posts on my Vegas trip and some exciting news for the PokerCrucible brand.
